The moon is a loyal companion. It never leaves. It’s always there, watching, steadfast, knowing us in our light and dark moments, changing forever just as we do. Every day it’s a different version of itself. Sometimes weak and wan, sometimes strong and full of light. The moon understands what it means to be human. Uncertain. Alone. Cratered by imperfections.

Studio Ghibli Challenge - Day 6
Least favourite character and why?
Hmm that’s a tough question. I think it has to be the aunt in the Grave of the Fireflies. Yeah, she wasn’t a witch or a true villain but that woman stole the children’s money for her own family and cold heartedly told a 4 year old that her mother was killed. She didn’t even care when those poor orphans left. My blood boils the more I think about it.

I actually almost teared up upon seeing this picture. This was unbelievably sad. I know I drop the word a lot, but seriously, this was devastatingly sad. I could almost cry just remembering the events of the story.
